[She feels empty without having a sketchbook around. Sure she could live without having her Smile Compact, which allowed her to transform into a Precure. Drawing was a big part of a life.]

Um, hello? My name's Yayoi Kise. It's nice to meet you all. I-I was just wondering, has anyone see any of my friends here? Their names are Miyuki, Akane, Nao and Reika. I only just started this journey but I already miss them.

Oh, I do have another question. Does anyone know where I can get some art supplies? I'm fine with just a sketchbook and pencils.

Hm... Miki is sure there were paintbrushes and markers at the department store in Goldenrod City. [ She was too busy paying attention to the clothes there though. ] Miki is on the way back, so when Miki is there next...

Art supplies, however, I know where to find in ample supply! You can get them in the next town over in Cherrygrove, if you don't mind some really basic ones.

Well, we actually just defeated the Evil Emperor Pierrot, so both Earth and Marchenland should be safe. His henchmen from the Bad End Kingdom are probably retreating now too.

Um, yes. I do draw a lot. I kind of got inspired by all the different ways pokemon fight.

Ahhhh, the Evil Emperor Pierrot, huh? It sounds like you just saved the world from a clown going by--

Um... Putting aside your art talent for a moment, did... did you really just say Bad End Kingdom? As in a Kingdom that is ruled and is nothing but Bad Ends? A Kingdom full of nothing but ends that you get by picking the wrong choice? Option C, as it were...? The kind of Kingdom that the lead of any visual novel would shudder in horror at the mere mention of due to the implications?

[It only dawned on her that she actually shouldn't be talking about Precure business. Oh well, might as well let him know the rest. ]

Well the Bad End Kingdom used to terrorized a world called Märchenland, home of fairy tales characters, to create the "worst ending" for the universe . Both the queen of the land and Pierrot fought and the queen sealed him away but her power got scattered to Earth.

So it's my friends' and my job as Pretty Cures, legendary warriord, to prevent the Worst Ending from happening and restoring the queen's power by finding the Cure Decor. Well, that is when I could transform and everything.

I am afraid that I neither met anyone by those names nor see any art supplies. Perhaps you can take a complimentary notepad and pen from one of the local Inns..?

So, um... If I'm getting this right, you're... basically a magical girl who fights to defend fairy tales and stop the ultimate Bad End?

... I... I'm not going to get you in trouble by knowing this, am I? A monster from your home won't show up and try to take my Heart Crystal or my Dream or other such important things, right?

I see. Thank you. I'm sure they're alright but I'm sure they must be worried about me.

I think I'll have to do that until I get an actual sketchbook.

That's right. My friends and I are protecting both Märchenland and our world from the Bad guys. Except I can't transform here.

I don't think so. The guys from the Bad End Kingdom would've caused some trouble by now. They would've try to drain the Bad energy out of people to revive Pierrot again.

We should be okay. Besides we have our pokemon to protect ourselves too.

*and after a brief moment of disbelief...*

Even if you can't transform... Good job protecting everyone, Kise-san! I might not really understand all the lingo, but anyone who protects people from Bad Ends deserves some praise!

Is art a hobby of yours, perhaps?

[ She hasn't quite noticed just where the other girl is at yet. That takes effort to do. ]

I just landed here so that puts me at...Route 29? I had no idea it took this long to get to the next town alone.

O-oh, thank you, Hayate! Well, to be honest, I was super scared when I first joined but now I don't regret becoming a Precure!

Yes, that's right. I used to be so shy about drawing out in the open but thanks to my friends, I'm okay with that. Besides, there's something I want to draw for one of my friends here.

[ Homura thinks a moment. She wants to buy Yayoi painting supplies as a gift now, since she admires her courage. ]

I can only imagine that being a magical girl would be pretty scary at first... Yet despite that, it's good not to have regrets! That kind of thing always comes with really tight bonds if cliches are to be believed.

Oh, that's right... Miki forgot about how long it takes to travel when the journey begins. Later on, you can get a bike or a Pokemon that you can ride instead.
